Yet so far.
Got the rear suspension almost done today. Still needs torquing down and to have a couple washers slid in but dayum.

So shiny! My suspension components are nowhere near this clean.

Yeah, it won’t stay that way, haha.
Sway bar, end links, and coilovers are brand new from FlyinMiata. Control arms got the refurb treatment. All the cruddy stuff hasn’t been touched. There are a few things that bother me because they aren’t clean, but hey, nothing stays shiny on the underside.

Yes, dont want to confuse the recommendation of “keep the shiny side up” and have the wrong side being more shiny!
I thought these looked like the Vmaxx. I’ve been very happy with mine, even with just the classics. I kinda wish I got the xtremes just for the stiffer springs but these have made me happy. The FM front sway is quite excellent as well, I am even happier with that.

Good to know! I got the classics. The ultimate aim is to turn this into an exocet and I was little worried about taking away 800lbs of weight and ending up over-sprung.
I did the suspension kid with front and rear sway bars. Currently only have the back done though. I have a few weekends more work before the car is back to drivable. Front control arms, sway bar, all around brakes, clutch / flywheel. Annoyingly, the transmission fill plug is stuck.

Hopefully you figured out the fill plug is stuck before you pulled the drain plug lol

Haha, I did indeed. But I need to pull the trans anyways so if a few more days of pb blaster doesn’t help, I’m draining and dropping it. It can always be filled from s couple of alternate locations.
